When I walked into the gym, over 2 years ago now, I didn’t expec to end up in the shape I am now. I had a sports career behind me, but unfortunately due to a serious back injury, I was no longer able to be active. After the surgery and learning how to walk again, I got a new injury in my back and I felt so scared to do anything. In 2014 I just gave up and ended up doing nothing, being a lazy, couch lying, old woman.
Then, I met Branko… he listened to my fears, my limitations and my expectations to become a little fitter.
Branko is very passionate and he knows his job. He keeps me motivated and consistently changes every workout with different routines making it always challenging and interesting. You can trust his judgement. He knows when to push and when to take a step back. He’s always concerned about your safety and wellbeing. He cares about people he works with.
Now, the major aches in my body have gone, I can do crazy things again, walking unexpectedly miles and miles, I can go hiking, swimming, running….
Branko will certainly push you to the point of exhaustion. He is result driven. He wants you to obtain the best shape you can be in, but is that not why we need someone like him ?
Within 3 months of training with Branko, I had lost 7kg. After a year I had lost 12kg. I was losing weight and feeling great. When I started training with him I was unfit and 74kg. We trained hard twice a week and I went to the gym the other days for lots of cardio following his daily advice on what to do. My target was 59kg. I said to Branko on my first weigh in that ‘no way I would ever make it to 59kg!’ A year and a half later I am now 58kg and we are working on toning my muscles and maintaining my fitness level.
Branko is not a trainer, he’s a coach and he knows how to push his clients and what motivates each individual. He tailors the sessions to suit the client and he knew how to motivate me to make me work hard. I say my success is all down to him, he says its down to us.
