With over 20 years in the fitness industry, I have devoted my career to helping others become healthier, stronger and more confident versions of themselves. I find great fulfillment in my client’s successes and delight in their newfound confidence when they achieve a personal goal, overcome an obstacle or do something they never thought they could!

Staying consistent with your health plan and showing up for yourself day after day, especially on the hard days, is what builds long lasting results, continual improvement and greater physical and mental resilience. Following a nutrition plan that is custom made for you and your lifestyle is the catalyst that will drive your success. My clients often tell me the first feelings they have when starting their new program is a positive shift in their overall health, including increased quality of sleep and increased energy. This often directly relates to increased motivation and stronger will power to follow through with their commitment they have made to themselves. Having a coach that holds you accountable and motivates you to move more, move differently and trust your body is a big factor in your success.
In our training sessions I will focus on challenging you with a variety of body weight, resistance machines, bands, free weights and cardio drills to increase your fitness, taking into consideration your background history with exercise, injuries or limitations, health concerns, and what makes you feel good and empowered to push more. I believe mobility training is the foundation our bodies require to be able to move fluidly and feel its best inside and out of the gym. Mobility work can be challenging as its own workout – opening your joints and creating space for muscle growth, powerful when combined with strength training-to help with greater range of motion and overload, and healing as a tool for recovery-promoting injury prevention and treatment. Whether you are a part of my mobility class or a 1-1 client, I make sure to address muscle imbalances, joint limitations and work within your ability level for a safe workout.
On my extra time I enjoy lifting heavy things, challenging my mobility, being outside, reading and spending time with my 2 sons who keep me active all day long! The fitness industry is ever changing, which is why it’s important to me to keep up to date with education courses to keep my credentials relevant. I graduated from George Brown College in Fitness and Health Management in 2006. I am a certified Master Trainer with additional certifications in Sports Nutrition, Fitness Kickboxing and Pre/post natal Exercise Specialization. My areas of focus are mobility training for all levels, post injury rehabilitation, pain reduction, fat loss, muscle building and nutrition coaching.
If you are new to fitness, embarking on a new fitness journey or an experienced exerciser looking to take your training to the next level, it would be my pleasure to work with you to implement a safe, effective and reasonable workout and nutrition plan that you can stick with long term.
